About Izzy...
Who am I?
I work in regulatory affairs at Pfizer, my personality type as a co-ordinator relates to my work as I’m detail‑oriented and organised, allowing me to manage submissions efficiently and contribute to clear, high‑quality work. My personality trait as a 'manager' relates to the work that I do as I am structured, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks. My personality trait as a campaigner relates to my role through my skills being a strong communicator, I am proactive and always want to help in any way I can.
What do I do?
I contribute to post-approval regulatory activities, co-ordinate and co-author application forms, cover letters of letters of intents for specific procedures. I really enjoy the detail-orientated nature of these tasks.
How did I get here?
I chose a career in STEM due to my love for science, the fact that it is constantly changing and my desire to help people. I did A level Biology, Chemistry and Maths and am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bath. I am now on a placement year working in regulatory affairs which I am loving.
The life I live
In my spare time, I enjoy dance and cheerleading. At University I am part of the Cheerleading team and we compete throughout the year. I also really enjoying running and will hopefully take part in a half marathon next year!
My typical day
A typical day is spent answering emails, responding to queries, assisting submissions and attending meetings.
