About Gloria...

Who am I?

"I agree with my personality types Co-ordinator, Manager & Trainer. In my line of work it is important for me to be super organised as I manage a portfolio of projects and to deliver on these projects in a timely manner I have to collaborate with a number of colleagues who would be experts in various fields. It is important to be a good communicator, listener and leader."

What do I do?

"I lead on providing education to Healthcare Professionals to support their continuous learning and development as well as being involved in projects that will improve healthcare in communities. I love the fact that I am part of meaningful change and contribute indirectly towards improving the quality of life of patients."

How did I get here?

"I have a life science degree in Pharmacology and my entry level job into the pharmaceutical industry was as a Medical Sales Representative in Sales & Marketing. I got to know about this role as my university organised a careers day whereby different people from various sectors in the work place came to talk about who they work for and their role. This gave me great insight on the breadth of roles I could consider and I made a decision on that day that I wanted to be a Medical Sales Representative."

The life I live

"I am a working Mum and have two children. I love spending time with family and friends doing various fun activities. I love to cruise around the world."

My typical day

"On any given day, I develop plans to execute. I cohesively, work with different colleagues on projects. I also attend various meetings to discuss performance or specific tasks and engage with key stakeholders in the NHS and charities to explore working in partnership."
