"I think the traits fit me quite well and are also quite accurate, especially the coordinator trait: I love planning, scheduling activities, in true STEM fashion! I think they do fit my work quite well, but I think they relate more to my current job as a coding teacher- particularly the trainer trait- than a software developer, even though being a developer requires having good communication with your team. "

"While I still a full-time student, I work as a coding teacher in primary schools and as a freelancer software developer (mainly web front end) and a social media manager. I absolutely love the creativity my job offers, as well as the problem solving. I also love talking about and teaching programming, especially to younger children, in the hope to inspire more people (particularly women) to become engineers. Because I am a freelancer, I started from £7.50 an hour to £10, and for teaching job is £25 per club."

"Working as a coding teacher is my first ever job, then freelancing came after a few months of trying and waiting. I found my job through my university, on a platform dedicated to jobs for students. I wanted to find a job related to what I was studying, hence this one was perfect. While I did not have a job before, I did a lot of work experiences when I was in school, and my school's LEGO Lab was a key player in all the interviews I have ever done. We developed an industry-like club that aimed to teach children about STEM using LEGO, and promote learning through playing within our school. We ran the club like a company, of which I was the primary lab manager, thus I was in charge of organising the sessions, from an inside and outside perspective, and ensuring everyone on the team was coordinated with each other to run sessions smoothly. Even if it wasn't a job, being part of this programme taught so many transferable skills that serve me today greatly, and will continue to do so."

"My friends and family would say I am restless in my free time. I always want to do something, make something. I am really passionate about design and creating, so I often create illustrations on Adobe Illustrator, as I love 2D vector art, or 3D modelling. But my eyes deserve a break from the screen, so I often crochet and as of recently embroider, if I am not painting or making some kind of craft (right now I am working on a melting disco ball statue). I also love boxing."

"The day before my lesson I will look at the material and prepare lessons and files for my students. If I am freelancing, I will read my emails and messages, make plans for the day and organise my work, then start creating content for the next 2-3 weeks and schedule them. Sometimes I will have client meetings."
