"When I was at school, I had no idea what I wanted to do all I knew was that I liked maths and solving problems. I had the opportunity to go to university at 19 to study business studies but instead I decided to find myself first and started working in hospital across the whole of the UK. After 3 years, I got as high as I could in that job and was bored and wanted more of a challenge so decided to apply for an Apprenticeship with Virgin Atlantic because I wanted to understand how an aircraft could fly. Unfortunate for them, I didn't get the apprenticeship but that curiosity made me apply to go to university to study Aeronautical Engineering. I got an unconditional on to a BEng Aeronautical Engineering course with a foundational year at Brighton University where I graduated 5 years later with a 1st Class (Hons) Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Straight out of university I was offered a role on the Siemens Graduate Engineering programme which allowed me to do 4 different rotations over a 2 year period across different parts of the business which I was grateful for because I still didn't know what I wanted to do! My 1st and last rotations were with the Energy Engineers and I loved the diversity of the role. One day we would be on site auditing a factory that makes amazing things, the next day I would be analysing the data from that factory using multiple tools, the day after that I get to come up with suggestions that can help make that factory more energy efficient and help then become carbon neutral. In that rotation I thought, yes this is something I would like to do, but also thought I'd want to be a project manager because I loved to be organise and help create things. So to try it out I also did a rotation as a project manager, just gonna say \"was not for me!\". I get to manage parts of a project as an Energy engineer so I get to do the bits I love there. So tick Project manager off as a potential career choice. My other rotation was with the Sales team, definitely not for me, I am definitely an Engineer. At the end of my Graduate programme I was offered a full time role as a Junior Solutions Energy Engineer which I took. A year later I was promoted to a Solutions Energy Engineer and leading the engineering's aspect of our flagship project where we are help create the worlds first smart campus at the university of Birmingham."

"I grew up in the middle south of France in the middle of the countryside and because of my up bringing I love nature, walking and exploring which I get to do everyday with my German Shepherd and husband. I love food be that eating all different varieties to cooking and baking."

"No day is the same! One day I could be at home providing insights from large amounts of data for a customer, the next I could be on site conducting energy audits, to another day taking part in an all day meeting, or reviewing the installation of a technology. That's the best part about my role, it's not the same thing day in day out but challenging variety to keep me interested."

This is Frances A level equivalent. 3 years later I decided to go to university and joined at a foundational year studying Aeronautical Engineering. 5 years later I graduated with a 1st Class MEng (Hons) Aeronautical Engineering."
