"I complete deliverables on projects that help to design and protect the overhead lines that supply power to trains so that they can run - there are so many exciting projects that you get to be a part of, especially when it comes to creating something completely new for the industry. I also occasionally go out to rail sites to see trains up close and learn how they operate.I would say the best parts of my role are thar I get to build up my knowledge, try so many new things, challenge myself and help the wider community by being part of the teams that help improve the railway."

I wanted to go to university, so A-levels gave me the great opportunity for me to study the subjects that I enjoyed in much more depth to prepare me for a degree.
