"My entry job was as a project manager on site which I very much loved and still do. Even now when I have a chance to visit a work site, I jump to seize the opportunity. my starting salary at the time was 30,000 GBP. Being able to see the product of what the team and I have achieved in real life always motivated me and still does, when I walk past any of my old projects, I am sure to bore someone with an anecdote or a story related to the projects. I have progressed since then and sit on boards of multiple construction and building services related companies. "

"I started with an Asst. project manager position in a UK retail brand, working my way up to Project Manager. Moved to a global brand as a Project manager and worked my way up the food chain to be a Senior Project Manager to being the Head of Department and then sitting on the board of the Northern Europe team. Made a lateral move to another global brand, Whilst working here had opportunity to own our own company with my husband and now have a portfolio in construction and building services related companies"

"I love painting, Classical Indian Dancing, cycling, Walks, afternoon Coffee and cake, Meeeting friends, travelling, reading, I love walking on high streets and checking out new brands and window shopping, learn to do gardening and my favourite visiting art galleries for a bit of quite and lot of inspiration (they are free and lots of space for the mind to wander!) "

"I used to think I am a night person but COVID and a 5 year old have changed that view. I have realised, I really enjoy getting up at 5:30 am (I know!!) doing my Crossfit, yoga, make a nice cup of Indian tea and a breakfast. Followed by emails check, Diary check before getting into the swing of things. Things are bit different with COVID but normally I have Monday and Friday Admin and email days and the ones in between will be for site visits and team meetings. Evenings We have dinner at 6 pm and lights out at 9:45 pm. Pretty boring I suppose!"
