Who am I?

What do I do?
"I am a Flight Systems Engineer. My role involves designing, developing and supporting a range of aircraft flight systems. The best and most satisfying part of my role is seeing a finished product, that I have been involved with, fitted onto an aircraft. "
How did I get here?
"I was inspired to go into Aerospace Engineering after seeing an Airshow when I was a young girl. I remember being amazed by the fast jets and this opened my eyes to potential careers in Aerospace. "
The life I live
"I am a creative person, I enjoy sewing, going to see live music and I am currently learning how to crochet!"
My typical day
"In my day-to-day role I could be collaborating with suppliers, performing research, coordinating tasks for my team, liaising with other disciplines, all whilst carrying out my own tasks which vary depending which part of the Engineering Lifecycle I am working in. I spend the majority of time at my computer however I do have many face to face meetings and I also get to visit suppliers."
My qualifications
"I took Maths, Physics and Chemistry for my A levels and completed a Masters in Aerospace Systems Engineering at the University of the West of England. "
