Who am I?
"My role requires someone that is good with people and is methodical. I deal with lots of people so Influencer is relevant. I am required to be a good planner and to get the job done, so Coordinator and Quality Controller are very useful in this role."
What do I do?
"I lead business change programmes, which involves establishing the programme delivery plan and a framework of how it will operate, planning the work activities, managing the teams to deliver, communicating with and influencing internal and external people who are involved and reporting progress to the company's Board. I like that I have the opportunity to make a difference by improving the way we work for our business, our people and our customers. I enjoy working with teams of people daily. In my career I have progressed from an engineer to a project manager to a department manager."
How did I get here?
"At school my Environmental Studies teacher inspired me and that's how I became interested in engineering. I took A Levels in Maths, Physics and Surveying before completing a BEng Hons Civil Engineering with Management."
The life I live
"I enjoy keeping fit and especially enjoy Pilates. I also enjoy spending time with my family."
My typical day
"The majority of my day is spent meeting with people, such as team members to review progress, plan tasks and resolve issues, I meet with other people who have an interest in the project to get feedback and update them on progress. I also meet with the board and leadership team to report performance and take direction."
