About Yuhong...
Who am I?
"I have persistent and conscientious (Explorer and Trainer) personality traits which help me to face the problems met in research and never give up. I need good attention to detail in my research which links well with my Coordinator trait."
What do I do?
"I am studying for my PhD focussing on the investigation on the evaporative induced particle deposition of sessile droplets. In my first year I was provided an opportunity to exchange in Kyushu University in Japan for 3 months and am busy preparing an article for publication. I have opportunities to take part in University exchanges or attend conferences in other places."
How did I get here?
"I took the common route by first obtaining an Undergraduate Degree followed by a Masters and PhD study. I am curious about the world outside of my own culture, customs and people. I want to explore and experience life as much as possible, thus, study abroad with a scholarship is a good choice for me to realise this."
The life I live
"I exercise, cook, hike and chat with family and friends."
My typical day
"A typical day involves research, chatting with friends, exercising and cooking. I enjoy learning new things and applying them to my daily life."
My qualifications
"Undergraduate degree (BSc, BA, etc.)Post-graduate degree (MSc, MA, etc.) Engineering"
