About Prithyukshaa...
Who am I?
"I need the Communicator and Coordinator personalities to have good attention to detail and lay out facts using good communication skills. I also need to investigate and identity issues and solve them, which my Investigator personality is great for. "
What do I do?
"I work as a business analyst with an insurer. I model processes for new systems that need to be in place and work on translating ideas into requirements and ensuring these ideas make money. My day to day work spans from having discussions with different teams and partners, to analysing requirements and producing documents to support the tech teams to turn concepts into reality. I talk to stakeholders, who are people that are interested in a project. I have to understand and overcome new challenges, especially ones dealing with planning. There is a lot of opportunity to develop and progress. You can either become a subject matter expert, Agile scrum master or a project/programme manager after being a business analyst. I want to eventually rise to the rank of a COO or operations head of a global organisation. I love working on process modelling, planning and managing resources. I see this type of role as my logical future."
How did I get here?
"My Mum and Dad are my inspirations. Previously I have worked as a Developer, Business analyst in Fintech, airlines and telecom companies. "
The life I live
"I love blogging: I write about Women in tech in my blog series. I also read fiction when I am free."
My typical day
"A typical day involves talking to people involved in the project and conducting workshops and meetings. I write up documents and talk with development teams to help them understand what they are doing. "
My qualifications
"Post-graduate degree (MSc, MA, etc.) Computer Science and Management"
