Who am I?
"I believe I am a combination of these personality types and more! In the work that I do I bring my best self to work knowing that a different aspect of my personality may be needed on different days. There are days I have to explore situations to understand what is needed especially for new projects, there are many seasons of investigations to understand issues within the team and how best to resolve them. In every situation, I have to support the team to ensure our systems and processes are in compliance with our organisation’s goals and objectives. "
What do I do?
"As a systems and process manager, I use my technical and business experience to ensure our business system and processes align with our organisation’s goals and objectives.I support the team to find solutions to resolve system and/or alignment issues. I find joy in managing projects successfully and finding simple solutions to complex situations.The starting salary for this role depends on previous skills and experiences "
How did I get here?
"Following a degree in Computer Science & Mathemeatics, I started my career as an IT professional in an IT software security company. I then moved to an IT support role in the Oil & Gas Sector, where I transitioned to supporting the business application called SAP, and became a certified SAP consultant. IT and business skills are useful in many industries, and I have been in the Pharmaceutical industry for over 10 years using my skills and experience in the Supply Chain department. One thing I love about my job is the opportunity to of contributing to making a positive difference in people’s lives!"
The life I live
"In my spare time I enjoy dancing and yoga. I also love travelling, reading good books, and I am a huge fan of beaches and the seaside."
My typical day
"My typical day starts with me reading my emails and catching up on work status updates at the beginning of the day. I also check my calendar to see which appointments and tasks to prioritise for the day.Project meetings, Team meetings, systems tasks, systems reports and issues management take up the rest of the day as well as communications on emails and teams."
