Who am I?
"I am a strong team player, open and honest and share information. I have an eye for detail which really helps me to plan and problem solve. I enjoy talking to people from varied backgrounds and building customer relationships. I can take a complex problem or situation and simplify it to explain to others who may have no knowledge in the area."
What do I do?
"I enjoy my job as it's varied and no two days are the same. The outcomes of my work ultimately impact patients. My job allows me to provide a good lifestyle for myself and my boys."
How did I get here?
"I had a two jobs when I was at college where I worked at Next and in a department store. I continued to work at Next in the holidays whilst at university. After leaving university and researching job roles I started applying for jobs in the pharmaceutical industry. Secured a job at Pfizer and have been here ever since."
The life I live
"I am a single mom of two boys aged 13 and 10. My time is mostly spent taking them to sports clubs! I do enjoy cooking and eating out."
My typical day
"I am part of a national team of 10 and work from home. My role is to ensure patients have equal access to oncology treatments. We help customers with value added services and help to increase capacity in patient pathways. Spend time at my computer, responding to emails, planning interactions with customers. Customer calls via Teams and visiting face to face predominantly in hospitals. Writing and updating account plans. Attending team meetings. "
My qualifications
"A-Levels in Chemistry, Maths, French and General Studies at a sixth form college.BSc(HONS) Chemistry with Business Studies at University.Joined Pfizer in sales as a primary care representative moving into secondary care. Have many years of experience as an account manager. Have held a health economic role and experience in global operations."
