"I haven't studied in the UK therefore my qualifications may be difficult to follow for an UK based student. I finished science high school in Turkiye (similar to grammar school, state owned). After that, I went to university in Istanbul to study Industrial Engineering. I completed my masters degree in the same field of study at the same university in Istanbul as well. I have also completed masters degree in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam.Industrial Engineering study helped me get the IT consultant role in my early career. Then I started to build on it. First I was a technical IT consultant where I was programming mainly. In time I moved to the functional part of, playing the bridge role between the client and the technical consultants. For more than 15 years I have been doing this job. I have been running teams as well. As you get more experienced, you start to mentor/coach junior consultants and this is something I enjoy every day."
