"I'm an engineer at BAE Systems, a global defence company who have world leading capabilities in military and commercial aircraft technology. I work on electric aircraft and aim to have our products more sustainable for a better future!The best thing about my job is the amount of interaction with other people. I love having the opportunity to speak to lots of people from different teams, hearing different viewpoints and it's fantastic for building up a network. "

"My route started with my degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Loughborough University. In the summer between my second and third year of university Idid a 3 month placement at Caterpillar as a manufacturing engineer. After my third year I went to BAE Systems to do a placement year as a systems engineer. After finishing my degree, I returned to BAE Systems on their graduate scheme as an integration engineer.My journey so far shows that engineering is diverse and you're not confined to one type of engineering, you can experience different types and see what you enjoy the most."

"I live with my partner and we have a little dog called Harvey together. In our spare time we're often kept busy walking and playing with him.I like to read a lot and I'm currently learning British Sign Language."
