Who am I?

"I am a very organised and self-disciplined individual. I thrive on learning and challenging myself. I enjoy exploring new ideas and come up with innovative ways to solve complex issues. I am also very detailed-orientated and enjoy solving puzzles. I also love to go out of my comfort zone and do things that I normally don't do."

What do I do?

How did I get here?

"At the age of 12, my Physics teacher inspired me to become a Medical Engineer. Therefore in university, I studied Medical Engineering. After graduating, I did a PhD degree and undertook a post-doctoral research role at Imperial College London in the field of Bioengineering. I then moved to the NHS and started working as Healthcare Scientist in the field of Clinical Engineering. As a Clinical Engineer, I managed over 65,000 medical equipment and acted as a medical device safety officer. I also was responsible for the quality control of medical devices and their safety when in contact with patients. After 3 years, I moved to 'NHS England and NHS Improvement' to lead on service improvement projects. One of the interesting project that I managed was introducing sore throat test kits into pharmacies to help test and treat patients with sore throat infection. Currently, I am working at NHSx and my main aim is to introduce new technologies into the NHS to improve patients' health. "
