About Emma...

Who am I?

"On the personality quiz I get: communicator, trainer and manager. I think this sums me up very well - I really enjoy solving problems and empowering and supporting others. "

What do I do?

"I have two main roles;- Emergency Medicine Doctor - this involves seeing and treating patients in A&E. It is fast paced and challenging, but very hard work. - Chief Product Officer - I work out the features that the website needs to have and then work with the engineers to develop these features. I also support the wider product team and implement systems within the company. "

How did I get here?

"I started lower in the company. I published a blog showing some of the improvement work I had done in healthcare and was approached by the CEO"

The life I live

"I love spending time with my friends, exploring London, swimming and windsurfing. "

My typical day

"My typical day in the hospital involves seeing patients and writing notes on the patients I have seen. At Medics.Academy my day involves checking working that other people within the team have done, meetings with teams in the company about new strategies or products, meetings with potential clients. I also spend a lot of time writing proposals and checking emails. "

My qualifications
