"I work in the energy industry and particularly I am a Safety Engineer. I ensure that the design of energy plants and offshore facilities is compliant with the safety regulation. Particularly I use various softwares to analyse scenarios where the safety of people can be compromised, I write technical reports to inform the client of my findings and I present my results to them. "I studied in Italy therefore my route to becoming a Safety Engineer may be slightly different to yours but I believe it is worth to share anyway.I undertook scientific studies in high school, among other subjects I studied maths, physics, chemistry and biology.After deciding that the subjects I liked most were chemistry, maths and physics, I enrolled in a BEng followed by a MEng in Chemical Engineering. During my master I spent 6 months in France specializing in Safety Engineering. At the end of my academic career I realized that I wanted to become a Safety Engineer."
