Who am I?

What do I do?

"I am Microsoft's UK's Public Sector Sustainability and Smart Cities Lead. I am passionate about the impact tech can have on sustainability and the place we live in. My work at Microsoft involves working with customers and partners to find opportunities to deliver sustainable tech that improves an organisation's carbon footprint. "

How did I get here?

"Originally from Germany, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cooperative Education in Ravensburg, Germany. After a year of work and travel, I started her career at a small business selling in the finance sector I then joined Siemens on a management trainee scheme. Upon completion, I worked her way up through Bid management into Global Sales at Siemens. Since 2012 I have worked at Microsoft, first as Account Director for Cities which also allowed her to develop and lead Microsoft’s CityNext Strategy in the UK and then as an Industry Lead for Sustainability and Cities."

The life I live

"In my spare time, I love spending time with my kids Lara and Alex, I do lots of exercise like snowboarding, spinning and walking my lab Ti and also run a German Saturday School for German speaking children. "

My typical day

"There really is no typical day! Sometimes I get to work from home and have lots of video calls, other times I am with customers or present at events - it's never boring. "
