I also have to be a strong and clear communicator due to working with a variety of people at different levels. Quality Controller is also useful to me in other aspects of my work such as checking that details in my work are right."
What do I do?
"I have recently been offered a new role within the team looking after our Ethernet portfolio. My role involves taking responsibility for the success of my portfolio by defining the product strategy and vision. I develop an annual Product Road Map which can be shared with customers and Partners. I meet regularly with various people interested in the project and collect, analyse and respond to customer feedback. I plan new features and changes for the product and present new ideas and features to interested parties and attend conferences and events. I implement and support marketing campaigns. I love my role at TalkTalk Business as my role is extremely varied and there is always an opportunity to take on a new challenge. I particularly enjoy constantly working with various people across the business to drive the success of the portfolio."
How did I get here?
"My Mother and Father have inspired me to pursue a career in Business as they both have successful careers in Managerial roles. Initially, when I started at TalkTalk Business, I was given the opportunity to shadow one of the other Product Managers. Following a few months of shadowing, I was given the opportunity to manage our Broadband portfolio and I have gone on to manage one of our larger portfolios. I will also have the opportunity to become a Senior Product Manager or a Head of Product Management. There is also a lot of opportunity to progress within other teams."
