"I am a Wastewater Process Scientist for Northern Ireland Water. My job is the monitoring of existing wastewater treatment sites, investigating treatment issues and solving problems with treatment. We provide a clean effluent to be discharged to the environment and protect public and aquatic health. I enjoy the chance to keep developing and learning. We are always looking at new processes and innovation in Wastewater treatment. I get the chance to travel to UK mainland and recently Amsterdam to look at new treatment processes. There are excellent opportunities within in NIW to progress."
