Biomedical scientists support doctors to help diagnose and treat disease.They usually work in laboratories testing and analysing patient samples. If you have a blood test, it will be biomedical scientists who analyse it so the doctors can tell you what's wrong! This means they need to have high attention to detail as they need to be accurate with results. They may be expected to work evening and weekend shifts, but can earn between £22,000 - £41,250 depending on experience.
