About Synoptix

Synoptix was formed in 2011 to provide engineering solutions across various technical industries. We have evolved from a company established and focused on Systems Thinking principles into an Engineering company providing solutions and services across three key capabilities: Systems, Cyber & InfoSec and Technology.

What makes us stand out is how we engage in the crossover areas between these disciplines, combining our strengths to provide a truly bespoke, market leading approach.

Our engineering competence is bolstered by expertise in commercial, legal, financial and resource, thereby ensuring that we uphold excellence in our product and service offerings.

Our company culture

At Synoptix we’re committed to making our workplace and wider industry a diverse and inclusive environment.

We are fully committed to providing equal opportunities for all employees, workers and job applicants. At Synoptix we aim to create a culture that encourages and values diversity and that appoints, rewards and promotes staff based on merit.

We are dedicated to inspiring the next generation of engineers through established apprenticeship schemes, graduate schemes and outreach programmes.

Our research programmes offer the opportunity to work on cutting edge research – either in-house or with our academic and industry partners.

Our STEM outreach work includes giving talks in schools, attending careers fairs, work placements for year 12 students and projects for university students as part of their degrees.

Our senior team members mentor our early career engineers, who we support along their path to achieving qualifications such as ASEP and CSEP, as well as specialist accreditations, for example Systems Modelling Language (SysML).

We work hard to maintain a culture that fosters close-knit teamwork and professional satisfaction. And because we know how important career development is, we offer all our people:

  • Continuing professional development courses
  • Opportunities to work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Exposure to a wide range of companies, including large organisations
  • Paid fees for professional membership to, for example INCOSE and IET
  • Opportunities to develop technical skills on live projects
  • Encouragement to innovate through our ‘Spark Box’ ideas and innovation process
