Human Resources (HR) Managers develop, deliver and manager HR policies and plans, everything related to how and what workforce is employed. They will lead an organisations HR team to recruit the best staff that are needed to make sure the company runs effectively and projects are completed. They make sure that training is provided for staff and support staff to progress in their careers. They also have to handle complicated HR issues, managing staff’s personal situations and improving employee relations, and at all times ensure safety of employees and that the organisation is complying with the law. HR managers need to have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, as well as management and leadership skills. Good English and maths qualifications are essential, and you are likely to need a degree or HND in business or HR management. Human Resources Managers can earn from £35,000 to £150,000 per year.
